Funeral Religious Traditions
Marlatt Funeral Home and Crematory take pride in being able to serve all faiths in our community. We have customized our facility to help families perform their traditional religious services to honor their loved one.
Some religions perform a washing and dressing of the body prior to services. Marlatt’s provides a washing room to the family to accommodate these customs.
For those religious groups that like to be part of the cremation process, we offer crematory services at our location that can be held immediately after a service in our chapel or on a later date. We also offer families the choice of participating in the processing of the ashes in they wish.
The Marlatt Funeral Home has a large chapel on site to accomodate funeral and memorial services. If you'd prefer to hold your services at a church or another offsite location, we can accomodate that as well.
