Obituary for Louise M Scott

Louise Scott passed away on April 22nd, 2018, at the age of 61 years.

A Native of Seattle, Louise attended Seattle University and graduated with a degree in nursing. Louise worked as a nurse for more than 35 years with most of her time spent working at Harborview and Valley Medical Center. Louise loved her time as a Cardiac Rehab nurse and enjoyed spending time with her co-workers and patients.

Louise was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed hiking and climbing the North Cascades and Olympics with her husband Brian. Louise even met Brian in the mountaineers program, while she was training to climb Mt. Rainier. Louise also loved spending time kayaking the Puget Sound.

Louise was an active member at St. Stephen The Martyr for many years. She took great pride in her Catholic faith and was extremely involved in the Pro-life movement.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Brian, son Gregory, daughter Rosemary and her granddaughter Alexis. Louise will also be forever remembered by her siblings, numerous nieces, nephews extended family and dear friends.

A wake and rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 25th from 6p.m.- 10 p.m. at Marlatt funeral home in Kent.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Louise on Thursday, April 26th at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen the Martyr in Renton.
